Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Has NZ Post assessed whether its planned retail hub model — including the proposed Church Street hub in Palmerston North — will adequately serve communities previously covered by the closed shared-site counters, and if so, what was the outcome of that assessment?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that NZ Post’s new Retail Hubs will bring all services together in one convenient, customer-focused location. These NZ Post services include domestic and international parcel sending, parcel collection, bill payments, and access to PO Box services.
