8853 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: When is the new NZ Post retail hub planned for Church Street in Palmerston North expected to open, and will it be operational before the Terrace End post shop closes?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the new NZ Post Retail Hub in Palmerston North is expected to open in the first half of 2026. NZ Post services at NZ Post Terrace End, will remain until the new NZ Post Retail Hub opens.
