8844 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Does he have confidence in Commissioner Dr Lester Levy’s leadership and approach to staff appointments at Health NZ, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I have confidence in Commissioner Lester Levy, as well as the Deputy Commissioners, and the work that they are doing to get Health New Zealand back on track and focused back on delivering for patients.
