8822 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to Reply 7172 (2026), what has been the total cost to NZTA of administering the remediation process for the 488 impacted individuals, including the initial audit, risk assessments, testing programme, and associated communications?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised the total cost to NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) cannot be separately identified. The activity was delivered within existing operating baselines and did not result in any additional cost to NZTA.
