8821 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How, if at all, will Health New Zealand monitor the impact of the $20,000 rural incentive for primary care providers to ensure it effectively attracts new graduate nurses to hard-to-staff areas?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that Health New Zealand will be monitoring and reporting on the number of registered nurses employed in each of its districts.
