8775 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What number of public servants, if any, are no longer employed with Ministry of Transport to achieve a 7.5% cost-saving from 27 November 2023, compared to the week of Monday 15 April?

Hon Simeon Brown: Options regarding how the Ministry will achieve its cost savings remain under active consideration pending Budget decisions. However, I can confirm no public servants left the Ministry during the period stated, to achieve cost savings targets.
