8756 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October - December 2023 toward the outcome ‘Support a nationally coordinated research agenda’ under ‘Focus area three: Kōkiri Ngātahi System readiness and change’ within the Rheumatic Fever Roadmap?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the October – December 2023 quarter, the first steps were agreed towards a nationally coordinated research agenda. I am further advised that the National Rheumatic Fever Sector Symposium will be held on 23-24 July, where the sector will discuss, among other things, a nationally coordinated research agenda.
