8740 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 24 February 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles were affected?

Hon Simon Watts: Corrected reply: Officials advise that Inland Revenue commenced an informal consultation on 26 February 2025 with the Library Team in Enterprise Information & Knowledge Management regarding a proposal to not fill a vacant Team Lead position. The consultation resulted in disestablishing the Team Lead role, and creating an additional Information Specialist (L2) position. Three permanent staff members who initially reported to the Team Lead will now report to the Domain Lead (L1). No staff were affected by these proposals. This closed on 13 March 2025.
