8707 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to Written Parliamentary Question 2453, is Oranga Tamariki employing any external consultants to assist with the initial design of the military-style academies, and if so, what are their names, and length and cost of the contract?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki does not currently have any external consultants employed to assist with the design of the Military-style Academies pilot. Deloitte were involved in the early stages of the design process for a period of 12 weeks. The total cost for this work was $213,000.
