8674 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 24 February 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles were affected?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it did not open any consultation processes in the week beginning 24 February 2025. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development commenced consultation with one business group on 25 February 2025. The Ministry is proposing to disestablish 5 existing positions and establish 4 new positions that better match the work it needs to do in the future.
