Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (September – December 2023) has been made toward actioning ‘Social marketing and programmes for communities at risk of HIV’ under Focus area 2: Combination prevention and health promotion actions as recommended in the National HIV Action Plan?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that during the October – December 2023 quarter, HIV service providers continued to support the delivery of social marketing and community programmes that increase knowledge of, and access to, combination prevention among communities that have migrated from high HIV prevalence countries. This work was done using HIV Action Plan implementation funding.
