8591 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (September – December 2023) has been made toward actioning ‘New and innovative technologies and service delivery methods’ under Focus area 3: Testing and linkage to care actions as recommended in the National HIV Action Plan?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that during the October – December 2023 quarter, HIV providers delivered scaled up innovative HIV testing, using HIV Action Plan implementation funding. ESR also progressed a review of innovative HIV testing methods, approaches, and settings to inform new options for innovative testing.
