8575 (2026). Scott Willis to the Associate Minister for Energy: Will a government assessment take place to measure the potential impact of fuel supply if global fuel supply disruptions continue?
Hon Shane Jones: The Government is already undertaking ongoing assessments of fuel supply risks as part of its fuel security monitoring. MBIE continually assesses fuel supply conditions, including the potential impacts of prolonged global disruptions, and coordinates this work with industry and relevant agencies under existing fuel security frameworks.
