8564 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Does the Government intend to allocate additional funding to the EV charging infrastructure programme, given the Cabinet paper from April 2025 advised ministers that more funding would be required to meet the 10,000 charge point target?

Hon Chris Bishop: As Minister of Transport, I am advised that further funding will likely be required. This will be worked through as part of future funding decisions.
