Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Vocational Education: How much funding, if any, has the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology committed to student associations and/or student advocacy organisations for the remainder of 2026, broken down by funding amount and organisation?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology has not committed any funding in 2026 to student associations or student advocacy organisations or entities. The remaining business divisions use a student voice or student representative model. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 8539 (2026).
