8534 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: When will the Minister be putting the funds previously spent on s 27 reports towards supporting victims of crime as stated to the Justice Select Committee on 29 February 2024?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Legal Services Amendment Act came into force on 22 March 2024. To confirm the exact quantity of savings, officials are monitoring the impact of the law change over the coming months. Decisions will then be taken about how victims of crime can best be supported.
