8530 (2026). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Defence: Have any New Zealand Defence Force personnel been relocated, withdrawn, or had their duties altered due to escalation of hostilities involving Iran?

Hon Judith Collins: Some of the deployments that the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) contributes to have been suspended or have experienced movement restrictions because of the conflict in the Middle East region. NZDF personnel have also been relocated to support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade-led consular response.
