8519 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: On what date, if at all, did Kāinga Ora first agree to changes to the Hutt City Council stormwater project approved through the Infrastructure Acceleration Fund application process in 2022 and how was any such agreement communicated to the Hutt City Council?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have interpreted the Member’s question to relate to the decision to transfer Infrastructure Acceleration Fund funding from the Hutt City stormwater project to the City Link bridge project. My office received the briefing “Variation Request to IAF Funding Agreement with Hutt City Council, Riverlink Development [GSR-25-18517]” on 12 March 2025 which I signed on 17 March 2025. Kāinga Ora subsequently approved the variation with Hutt City Council. This is also my answer to WPQ 8521 (2026).
