8491 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister for Regional Development: How many staff, broken down by date of commencement and portfolio, in the Minister's office, if any, have been seconded from government departments, agencies or ministries since the Minister took office?

Hon Mark Patterson: Since receiving my portfolio responsibilities, I have had 2 staff seconded from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to my office for the Regional Development portfolio. Seconded staff are employed by the respective government agency - staff movements are not uncommon. There are a range of reasons why a secondee may leave an office early.
