8489 (2024). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Police

Written Question

8489 (2024). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Police: What reports, briefings, memos, aides-memoire, notes or written advice, if any, has he received on how the 6.5% budget cuts to New Zealand Police will impact the provision of services, listed by agency, title and date received?
Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister of Police, the titles of advice I have received from Police are considered for proactive release on a regular basis. These titles include advice that I, or my office, have requested. These titles can be found on the Police website under ‘About us’, ‘Publications and statistics’, ’Corporate’, ‘Information and advice to the Minister of Police’. Some titles may be excluded from proactive release on the basis that it is not in the public interest to release them at this time. Titles in this category will be reviewed on a regular basis and may be subsequently published on the above website. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 8852 (2024).
