8488 (2026). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister of Police: Were resources for aerial cannabis operations reallocated to preparation, response and recovery for any states of emergency due to severe weather during this term of Government, and if so, which weather events?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that resources were reallocated. The aerial spraying deployment for the Bay of Plenty District in 2026 was cancelled, and the resources were reallocated to the recovery efforts at the Mount Maunganui landslide.
