8447 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: How many staff, broken down by date of commencement and portfolio, in the Minister's office, if any, have been seconded from government departments, agencies or ministries since the Minister took office?

Hon Shane Jones: Since receiving my portfolio responsibilities, I have had 2 staff seconded from the Ministry for Primary Industries and the Department of Conservation to my office for the Oceans and Fisheries portfolio. With regard to information about early departures, I am not providing this level of detail to protect the privacy of natural persons. Please note that there are a number of reasons a secondee may leave an office early.
