8446 (2024). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Was the Minister consulted on any matters relating to the fast-track approvals bill, including the advisory panel recently appointed, and if so, what was her feedback?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been keeping abreast of work on the Fast-track Approvals Bill by attending all relevant meetings and reviewing all relevant documentation. I have also attended meetings focused on Fast Track legislation on the 8th of February, 15th of February, 20th of February, two meetings on the 27th of February, 18th of March and 26th of March. Additionally, I am regularly briefed by officials from the Ministry for the Environment.
