8427 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Agriculture: What analysis, aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their office, sent, received or requested on the impact of the war at the Strait of Hormuz on New Zealand by date and title?

Hon Todd McClay: I received one document on 9 March 2026 titled ‘MPI response to Iran conflict’. MPI officials provide input into relevant briefings and situation reports led by other agencies as part of the All-of-Government response to the Middle East Conflict. MPI officials also report to a daily meeting with a Ministerial group, which I am part of.
