8412 (2024). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: Will a “rigorous cost benefit analysis” on the changes to Significant Natural Area’s be undertaken?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I have directed officials to undertake a review of the significant natural areas provisions within the National Policy Statement for Indigenous Biodiversity. Cabinet decisions on any changes resulting from the review will be supported by regulatory impact analysis, which will be made available in due course.
