8381 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Defence: How many staff, broken down by date of commencement and portfolio, in the Minister's office, if any, have been seconded from government departments, agencies or ministries since the Minister took office?

Hon Chris Penk: To support my initial introduction to the Defence portfolio, in my capacity as the Associate Minister of Defence, one member of staff from the Ministry of Defence was seconded to my Office from 4 March to 24 September 2024. With respect to New Zealand Defence Force personnel, the member is referred to the response to question for written answer 8475 (2025).
