8351 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many people employed by the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19 Lessons Learned have left their roles since 27 November 2023, listed by date of departure, duration of service and role title?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that 24 staff have left their jobs in the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19 Lessons Learned (the Royal Commission) since 27 November 2023. The majority of these left at the end of their fixed-term employment or on the completion of the Phase 1 report in November 2024. I refer the member to Appendix A which shows the length of service with the Royal Commission and departure dates, as well as job titles.
