8349 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: Is it the Minister’s expectation that they review and/or approve cost-saving plans relating to their departments, ministries and agencies, prior to Cabinet considering the full budget package?

Hon David Seymour: I am not responsible for any departments, ministries or agencies in my role as Associate Minister of Health. I am the responsible Minister for Pharmac. Decisions over Pharmac's operations are a matter for the Pharmac Chief Executive.
