8332 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Biosecurity: How many staff, broken down by date of commencement and portfolio, in the Minister's office, if any, have been seconded from government departments, agencies or ministries since the Minister took office?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) provides ten seconded staff to five Ministerial Offices and one Parliamentary Under-Secretary office. The total number of staff seconded to Ministerial Offices at any given time can fluctuate because of variances to durations of terms. Given the small number of secondees, detailed information regarding their individual commencement date, end date and reason for concluding their secondment is not provided in order to protect their privacy.
