8303 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister of Police: Does the Minister believe New Zealand Police are adequately trained to respond to hate motivated offending against the Rainbow community, and if so, what training, if any, has New Zealand Police already undertaken to achieve this result?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I believe that Police does an outstanding job in enforcing the law and responding to the needs of the community.
