Hon Dr Shane Reti: It has been my expectation to be updated about significant implications with my portfolio responsibility as Minister. However, agencies’ cost-savings plans are the responsibility of the chief executive and are subject to Budget decisions which remain confidential until final decisions are approved by Cabinet.
