8234 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Have any official communications been issued that instruct hospital staff to empty their own office bins or undertake other cleaning tasks previously managed by cleaning staff, if so, does he consider this an appropriate practice in a hospital setting?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that no official communications have been issued.
