8229 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 5371 (2025), within how many days, if any, is operational data on social work engagements with children and their families considered official data suitable for publication?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that operational data is not considered official until a month and three working days after the data is recorded. I am further advised by Oranga Tamariki that additional time is often required before publication to ensure the appropriate analysis and commentary is completed before publication.
