8221 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Regulation: Is it the Minister’s expectation that they review and/or approve cost-saving plans relating to their departments, ministries and agencies, prior to Cabinet considering the full budget package?

Hon David Seymour: The Ministry for Regulation has existed for a little less than two months and therefore cannot reduce its expenditure below the level before it existed.
