Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Finance: What briefings or advice, if any, has the Minister received on the fiscal implications of any redundancies, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, listed by title and date?

Hon Nicola Willis: I have not received any briefings or advice regarding the fiscal implications of redundancies from the Treasury. I also refer the member to the answer to Written Question 4075 (2024) in relation to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
