8173 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: What exemptions from the expectations set out in the Needs-based Service Provision Cabinet office circular of 13 September 2024, if any, have been requested in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials have not sought any exemptions, nor provided advice to me on the Needs-based Service Provision Cabinet office circular of 13 September 2024. I have been informed by officials Inland Revenue allocates its resources on a needs basis and that no policy changes were required.
