8157 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Associate Minister of Finance: To what extent have academic or industry experts been consulted, if any, during the formulation of the Overseas Investment Act Reform, and can their input be made publicly available?

Hon David Seymour: Feedback from previous engagements and targeted consultation have informed the proposed changes to the new regime. The public will have an opportunity to submit when the bill is referred to select committee.
