8140 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Justice: What policy changes, if any, have occurred in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, following the Cabinet directive on 13 September 2024 that 'public services should be prioritised on the basis of need, not race'?

Hon Nicole McKee: The Ministry was already designing services based on need and often driven by legislative requirements. The Ministry has continued that approach to designing services and will be guided by CO (24) 5 on needs-based service provision as proposals for the design of public services are developed.
