8135 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: How many staff were appointed to a role that had the same or substantially similar responsibilities to the position from which they were made redundant, of those made redundant at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that neither the Ministry nor NZTA has reappointed any employees who were made redundant between 27 November 2023 and 4 March 2025.
