Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: How many staff made redundant at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023 were reappointed either directly (i.e., without a competitive process) or after reapplying through a competitive recruitment process?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that neither the Ministry nor NZTA has reappointed any employees who were made redundant between 27 November 2023 and 4 March 2025.
