8125 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: Have any of the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible made ex gratia or other additional redundancy payments since 27 November 2023; if so, how many such payments were made, and what was their total value?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry has not made any ex-gratia or other additional redundancy payments since 27 November 2023. I am advised that NZTA paid a total of $108,742.06 in ex gratia and other additional redundancy payments (excluding in Lieu of Notice payments) to 4 individuals made redundant between 27 November 2023 and 4 March 2025.
