8118 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Public Service: How many staff at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at at the same ministry, agency or department, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that of the 15 Public Service Commission employees that have been made redundant since 27 November 2023, none have been reappointed within the Commission. Due to privacy reasons the information cannot be broken down into the categories the member has asked. This is also my response to WPQ 8120 (2025).
