8106 (2026). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many professional firefighter recruit training courses are currently scheduled to take place in 2026?

Hon Brooke van Velden: There is one recruit course confirmed for April 2026. There is provision for two more courses to be run in July and September however management will determine if they will proceed based on attrition rates, number of confirmed and projected vacancies.
