Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: How many staff at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at at the same ministry, agency or department, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities that 11 staff have been made redundant since 27 November 2023. Of those, 5 were voluntary redundancies and 6 were other redundancies. None have been subsequently appointed to a role in the Ministry.
