8094 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Attorney-General: How many staff at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at at the same ministry, agency or department, if any, since 27 November 2023?
Hon Judith Collins: Corrected reply: Five employees of Crown Law have been made redundant in the period since 27 November 2023 and none of these individuals have been subsequently appointed to a new role at Crown Law. Two employees of PCO have been made redundant since 27 November 2023 and none of these individuals have been subsequently appointed to a new role at PCO. There have been no voluntary redundancies at Crown Law or PCO in the same period.
