8091 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What accrued savings, if any, has the minister’s departments, ministries and agencies (if applicable within their portfolio) realised resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that the process to realise savings is ongoing and the Department is continuing to provide advice to Ministers on savings proposals as part of the Budget 2024 process.
