8064 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many staff at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at at the same ministry, agency or department, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that between 27 November 2023 and 3 March 2025, two of the employees rehired were voluntary redundancy and one was made redundant as part of a change process. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 8067 (2025).
