Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections has not made any policy changes following the Cabinet directive on 13 September 2024 that public services should be prioritised on the basis of need, not race. I am further advised that Corrections’ procurement and commissioning processes adhere to the New Zealand Government Procurement Rules, which require agencies to act transparently, fairly and in a manner that delivers public value.
