Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Land Information: How many staff at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have been made redundant, broken down by (a) voluntary redundancy, and (b) all other forms of redundancy, and of those staff, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at at the same ministry, agency or department, if any, since 27 November 2023?

Hon Chris Penk: In total since 27 November 2023 there has been a total of 22 redundancies at Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). Of these, 5 were voluntary redundancy and 17 were other forms of redundancy. None of the staff made redundant have been subsequently appointed to a new role at LINZ.
