8007 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: Has Specialised school transport assitance (SESTA) funding been reduced in any regions across the country since January 1 2026; if so, where and by how much?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry), that the school transport appropriation is demand driven, meaning funding rises and falls with the demand from eligible students. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 8009 (2026).
